So, why is it taking me so long to get done with Mockingjay? I know many librarians, authors, and other readers went through that book within a day of it being released, but I've been working on it for more than a week now.
I think my problem with this book, much like the problem I had with Deathly Hallows (the last Harry Potter book), is that I don't want my experience with these characters to end. I want to know what happens, but I am going to miss them and their adventures once I finish that last page. So, while I want to fly through the book, I am stopped by the fact that I also *don't* want to know.
Does anyone else feel like this?

Wow, I hadn't seen that tattoo - it's gorgeous! May I ask what artist did it?
So, back to Mockingjay. I read it super-quickly, in an afternoon, just like I did the first two books. BUT, I felt differently about this one. I'm going to refrain from anything spoilery here, but I will say that this book was a completely different reading experience for me than the first two books were. Let me know when you're done with it so we can talk spoilers!
I am also having trouble getting through Mockingjay. I love the series, and I don't want it to end either. I came across some spoilers today and was pretty upset that I allowed myself to read the review. No more spoilers for me. I need to finish the book already. :-)
Wow! Two comments! I hadn't seen these!
Anne, I am done with the book, so we can spoil away soon. :) also, my tattoo is from an artist here in St. Joe, Michigan. His place is called Conception Gallery and his name is Zaq Weaver.
